GPS Security was created by an electrical contractor who found himself a part of the billion dollar a year theft statistic. He was tired of forfeiting a portion of his potential profit of each job to the increasing number of thieves in our world today.

If you are looking at this site, in all likelihood you have experienced the same sick feeling yourself of discovering that your trailer, remote cabin or other property has been broken into, and your assets taken. Each time one of the jobsites became the unfortunate target of a thief; the determination became increasingly stronger to do something proactive against the behavior that plagued him and other upright citizens. The tactic of actually hiring a security company to sit on the jobsite and watch the assets was used and although effective was very costly and again ate at the profits of the job. Purchasing and installing a wireless Internet camera and DVR recorder was another tactic used. Placing the expensive camera on the job only afforded him the opportunity to watch someone steal his stuff since identification could not be made of the person, and license plates couldn’t be seen in the dark of night.
